Required subjects
- Admission is based on a Bachelor's Degree pass with a minimum of 50% in English, and 50% in Mathematics (or 80% in Mathematical Literacy, or 80% in Technical Mathematics), applicable across NSC, NC(V), SC and SC(a) qualifications with the appropriate degree-level pass
- Applicants who did not previously study Accounting, or who achieved below 50% for Grade 12 Accounting, must complete a compulsory 'Introduction to Accounting' online workshop
- failure to complete it can result in cancellation of degree registration
- International applicants require a USAf Exemption Certificate plus the relevant Maths/English scores
- Alternative access routes include: Mature Age admission (four categories for candidates 23+ and 45+, with varying requirements including Senate discretionary admission, minimum 40% across four subjects, and USAf exemption)
- Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for candidates with relevant experience
- USAf-approved cognate foundation programmes
- transfer admission for students with at least 70% in Accounting modules from another qualification
- holders of a cognate diploma or higher certificate
- IEB International Secondary Certificate holders
- American High School Diploma holders with a GPA of 3.5+ and specified standardised test scores
